In a statement of condolences to the Lebanese people, Hezbollah speaks of a 'national tragedy'.

Hezbollah, the Lebanese resistance party, offered condolences on Tuesday for the "national tragedy" caused by the explosions at the port of Beirut.

247 - Hezbollah expressed its deepest condolences and considered the explosion in Beirut a "national tragedy." Its Secretary-General, Hasan Nasrallah, postponed a speech that had been scheduled for Wednesday evening. 

In a statement released a few hours after the explosions at the port of Beirut, Hezbollah offered "its deepest condolences for the national tragedy that has occurred in Lebanon during these difficult times."

"This grave disaster, along with its unprecedented repercussions and the damage it has caused on various levels, requires a national stance from all the Lebanese people and national authorities in an attempt to overcome this ordeal."

Meanwhile, Hezbollah praised all medical and rescue teams for their efforts in helping all those affected by the explosions. In this context, the Lebanese Resistance party expressed its willingness to offer all kinds of assistance to Lebanese citizens in this regard.

"We put all our resources into serving our honorable people and our dear citizens when needed."

Also on Tuesday, Hezbollah announced that Nasrallah's speech scheduled for Wednesday had been postponed to a later date, citing the national mourning Lebanon is experiencing due to the massive explosions, reports the organization. Al manar.
