In a pathetic speech, Bolsonaro makes Brazil look ridiculous in the US.

At the ceremony marking the handover of the Alcântara Base to the United States, President Jair Bolsonaro spoke about the attack he suffered during the campaign, said that the Lula and Dilma governments were anti-American, declared his admiration for former US President Ronald Reagan, and made bizarre statements such as "we are God-fearing. We are against political correctness and gender ideology" and "I am not homophobic."

247 - At the ceremony that marked the handover of the Alcântara Base to the United States, on the afternoon of this Monday (18), President Jair Bolsonaro made a pathetic speech, once again making Brazil look bad.

He spoke of the attack he suffered during the campaign, said that the Lula and Dilma governments were anti-American, declared his admiration for former US President Ronald Reagan, and made bizarre statements such as "we are God-fearing. We are against political correctness and gender ideology."

The president also stressed that he would not be homophobic, then laughed, eliciting laughter from the Brazilians who were with him at the event.
