In Brussels, Zelensky thanks the EU for its support and calls for more weapons.

Deutsche Welle - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with European Union (EU) officials in Brussels on Thursday (09) and forwarded a request for faster delivery of weapons, as well as the sending of fighter jets to reinforce the country's defenses.
Kyiv is concerned about new offensives by Russian troops after the end of winter in the Northern Hemisphere (officially March 20), with its defense lines under heavy pressure in the east and south of the country.
The day before, Zelensky was in the United Kingdom for meetings with political leaders, such as Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and King Charles III, and in France, where he was received by President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. At every stop on his European tour, Zelensky had the same agenda: to request new shipments of heavy weaponry, adding fighter jets to the Ukrainian demands.
