247 - Entrepreneur Elon Musk, owner of Tesla, SpaceX, and X (formerly Twitter), has once again become directly involved in Brazilian politics by sharing a post calling for acts to impeach President Lula (PT). The post, made by Mario Nawfal, an influencer critical of Lula and Minister Alexandre de Moraes of the Supreme Federal Court (STF), mentions protests organized to take place in 120 cities in March, reports Paulo Cappelli, from [source missing]. Metropolis.

In the post, Nawfal shared images of the 2016 demonstrations calling for a coup against then-President Dilma Rousseff (PT) and suggested that the same movement would be repeated against Lula. Musk, interacting with the post, simply wrote "Wow," amplifying the reach of the call to action. The billionaire's action generated reactions in the Brazilian political sphere.

The president of the Workers' Party (PT), federal deputy Gleisi Hoffmann (PR), used social media to criticize the businessman's stance and the mobilization of the Bolsonaro-supporting right wing in Brazil. “Elon Musk using the X to lead a protest by Bolsonaro supporters here in Brazil. These people from the ineligible [Jair Bolsonaro] have no idea what the word sovereignty means. Saluting the US flag is not enough. They want to hand over the country completely and aren't even ashamed of it,” she wrote.

Musk, who currently holds the position of head of the U.S. Government Efficiency Office, has close ties to the most radical wing of the American right. He is a close ally of Donald Trump and maintains an openly hostile discourse towards Lula and Alexandre de Moraes.

The conflict between Musk and Moraes intensified in recent months, when the businessman accused the minister of "censorship" after court decisions that ordered the blocking of profiles on X linked to disinformation and attacks on democratic institutions.

The increased calls for protests against Lula reinforce the growing interference of international far-right figures in Brazilian politics. Musk has repeatedly demonstrated his affinity with allies of Jair Bolsonaro and has used his networks to disseminate content aligned with the opposition to the government.
