Given up for dead, Gaddafi's son appears on TV.

The youngest son of Libya's president has reappeared in images from the country's state television inspecting troops; last week, opposition members announced that he had been killed, information denied by the government.

Agência Brasil – The youngest of Libyan President Muammar Gaddafi’s seven children reappeared today (10) in images broadcast by the country’s state television channel. Last week, opposition members announced that Jamis Gaddafi had been killed during combat with forces allied to the Libyan leader. The government denied the death of Jamis Gaddafi.

In the images shown, Jamis appears wearing a military uniform visiting wounded soldiers hospitalized in an unidentified hospital. However, the opposition maintains its claim that there was a bombing in the Zlintan region, where the Libyan leader's son was located, and that 85 civilians were killed.

Yesterday (9), the Libyan government organized a visit by journalists to a morgue in the city of Zlintan, to show the bodies of 30 people. According to Libyan authorities, most of the bodies are of soldiers who died in combat, but there were also two children and two women.
