TOREZ (Ukraine) (Reuters) Dozens of bodies were transported on Sunday in refrigerated train cars from the site of the Malaysia Airlines plane crash in eastern Ukraine to a station 15 kilometers from the crash site, railway workers said.

Observers from the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), accompanied by armed rebels, inspected the train cars.

Western officials have expressed concern over the handling of the remains of the 298 people killed in Thursday's disaster, and the Dutch Foreign Minister has voiced his displeasure with the treatment of the bodies.

After spending two days in the region's summer heat, the bodies were removed this Sunday, leaving only bloodied military stretchers at the scene.
