The number of coronavirus infections has reached over 520, while more than 23.500 people have died worldwide.

247 - The coronavirus has already killed more than 23.500 people worldwide, while no fewer than 520.000 cases have been confirmed. On the other hand, more than 122.000 people have recovered from the disease, according to data provided by Johns Hopkins University.

USA - On Thursday, the United States became the country most affected by the new coronavirus, after confirming 82.404 positive cases. So far, 1.070 people have died from the disease in the world's richest country. 

In Italy, 8.165 people have died, while a total of 80.539 cases have been confirmed.

Spain has recorded 4.089 deaths and 56.188 infections. 

In Iran, 2.077 people have died and the total number of infected in the Persian country is now 27.017.

France has 1.696 deaths and 29.155 confirmed cases. 

The United Kingdom has recorded more than 100 deaths in a single day from the coronavirus for the first time. On Thursday, 115 people died in the country due to the disease, bringing the total to 578. The total number of infected people is 11.658. 

In Germany, the total number of deaths is 198 and the number of confirmed cases is 36.508. 

In Russia, two people have died, while the total number of infections has risen to 840. 

In Brazil, the total number of deaths is currently 77, while the total number of infected people so far is 2.915. 

In Ecuador, the number of deaths from coronavirus has risen to 34, and there are 1.403 infected. 

Peru has already reported 9 deaths and 580 positive cases. 

In Argentina, 12 deaths and 589 cases of infection have been confirmed. 

Mexico has now recorded 8 deaths in total and 585 confirmed infections. 

Panama has recorded 6 deaths and 443 confirmed cases;

Colombia has recorded 4 deaths and 470 cases.

Chile has confirmed 4 deaths and 1.306 cases of coronavirus. 

In Cuba, 2 people have died and the total number of infected people has risen to 67. 

Costa Rica has recorded 2 deaths and 231 positive cases. 

Honduras has recorded its first death from coronavirus. The number of infections is 52. 

Venezuela also recorded its first death from coronavirus, while the number of infected people rose to 107. 

In Uruguay, the total number of infections is 238.

In Bolivia, there are 61 infected people.

El Salvador there are 13 positive cases.
