Sputnik -As Sputnik discovered, sources within the Argentine intelligence service are concerned about the increase in cases of recruitment of Latin Americans in recent months by Daesh terrorists and the activities of an already identified cell of the Argentine group.

The presence of Daesh in Brazil and Argentina is already a confirmed fact, as is the recruitment of Argentinians and Brazilians into the ranks of the "Islamic State." This could become a serious threat to both Latin American countries, because citizens could return to the country and carry out an attack without anyone noticing.

Contacts between the intelligence services of both countries regarding the exchange of information have intensified in recent months. As a result of this work, agents concluded that the Olympic Games reveal the vulnerability of Brazilian security services. In the last few hours, they acknowledged the existence of a Daesh cell in the province of Corrientes, which is part of the so-called "Triple Borders" area. However, the government of Mauricio Macri has not yet officially confirmed this.
