The Interior Ministry, quoted by France Info radio, estimated that around 7 people participated in the mobilizations, of which 2,8 took part in the protests in Paris.
Police arrested seven protesters. France has been experiencing a wave of mobilizations by the so-called "yellow vests" since mid-November 2018.
The protesters, who wore fluorescent clothing, initially protested against rising fuel prices and taxes, but their demands expanded to include other social and political issues, even calling for the resignation of President Macron.
