Telesur - Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yván Gil denounced that the CIA and DEA have been conspiring from Miami and Colombia, along with far-right Venezuelan opponents. The minister emphasized that the United States government "protects terrorists who have confessed to their crimes and the orders they received to harm our people."

Similarly, Gil warned that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) have been conspiring from Miami and Colombia, along with opponents of the Venezuelan far right.

In this regard, Foreign Minister Gil highlighted that the objectives of these conspiracies have been to assassinate Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino López, and the governor of Táchira, Freddy Bernal.

The goal is to "destabilize our country through violence, terrorist attacks on military units, and a long list of extremist atrocities," the minister stated.

On the other hand, the Minister of Communication and Information, Freddy Ñáñez, questioned on Tuesday (13) the narrative of different NGOs about Venezuelan laws and the country's justice system.

This comes after the arrest and subsequent appearance before the courts of citizen Rocío San Miguel for the alleged crime of forming a criminal gang and treason, within the scope of investigations carried out by the authorities into the conspiracy plot known as the White Bracelet.

Following his arrest, various social organizations such as Amnesty International and Provea described these actions as a "forced disappearance," a narrative that was also promoted on social media by representatives of the right wing.

In this regard, Minister Ñáñez indicated that it is not surprising that these NGOs “demonstrate solidarity” with people investigated for crimes against the country's constitutional order; however, “it is surprising” that they attempt to ignore Venezuelan laws and “the legitimacy of a sovereign state.”

He stated that these same NGOs are part of a "strategy to isolate and sanction Venezuela."
