The official statement from the Russian Foreign Ministry regarding the US countermeasures will be made this Friday (30), announced the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

The diplomat also called the current US president's administration a "group of foreign policy failures."

"Tomorrow there will be official statements, countermeasures and much more," Zakharova wrote on her Facebook page. According to her, the American people are being humiliated by their own president and not by international terrorists or enemy troops.

"This time, it was the owner of Washington himself who slapped him in the face by maximizing the number of urgent tasks for the successor team. What should be comprehensive are the steps in the Middle East, not revenge," said the head of the Information and Press Department of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"The whole world... is watching a devastating blow against the reputation of the US and its leadership, delivered by Barack Obama and his foreign policy team, little aware that they have revealed to the world their main secret — exclusivity was merely a disguise for impotence. And no US rival could have done worse," he added.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry also pointed out that Obama, despite suffering several setbacks in his foreign policy, received a Nobel Peace Prize in 2009: "What is most remarkable is that the Nobel laureate, having failed to record any successes on the international stage during his presidency, ended up making a blot instead of a graceful mark."
