247, with Reuters - US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Wednesday, the 2nd, that the United States has made it clear to Ukraine that it will support Kiev's diplomatic efforts with Russia, but it is difficult to see a diplomatic path without a military de-escalation.

In a comment addressed to the Russian people, Blinken also said in a press conference that the United States knew that many of them did not support Russian President Vladimir Putin's decision to invade Ukraine.
