Sputnik - In the city of Mariupol there is a major problem with drinking water, the humanitarian situation is deteriorating and the Ukrainian side is trying to turn the city into a concentration camp, said Eduard Basurin, representative of the Donetsk People's Militia, on Thursday (3).
"Mariupol has a major problem with food supplies, a major problem with water and electricity, and the people are being held hostage. And these soldiers are the guards along the perimeter and inside the city. Mariupol has turned into a concentration camp," Basurin told the Rossiya 24 TV channel.
He further emphasized that the operation to liberate the city of Volnovakha is nearing completion and that it will soon be under the control of the Donetsk People's Forces.
