Forum Magazine - In an interview with the Argentinian website the rocket to the moon This Sunday (5), the President of Argentina, Alberto Fernández, criticized Jair Bolsonaro's stance on the advance of the coronavirus in Brazil and said he is concerned about the situation in the neighboring country.

Fernández highlighted that Brazil has a large share in Argentina's foreign trade, and that he fears the consequences that Bolsonaro's administration may bring.

“There is one issue that worries me greatly, about which I have warned other Latin American presidents, and that is Brazil. Brazil shares borders with almost all South American countries, except for Chile and Ecuador, and no one is addressing the coronavirus problem, no one is treating the matter seriously,” said Fernández.

“It’s very serious. We’ve been warning about what’s happening for a month, and Brazil hasn’t even moved. It’s a country with 200 million people, many in extreme poverty. I’m very afraid of what will happen in Brazil and the consequences for Argentina. Almost 60% of our foreign trade is with Brazil and China,” he continued.
