247 - Argentine President Alberto Fernández has suffered health problems that have forced him to postpone his speech at the G20 Summit in Bali, Indonesia, according to official sources, reports Telesur.
The spokesperson for the Argentine presidency published a statement from the Presidential Medical Unit on their Twitter account, specifying that the president "suffered an episode of hypotension and dizziness."
"Therefore, it was decided to carry out rigorous diagnostic studies to preserve his health and avoid complications," the unit said, adding that it will keep the public informed about the medical progress of the Argentine head of state.
Fernández's speech at the conclave of the 20 most developed countries was delivered on Tuesday morning (15) by Foreign Minister Santiago Cafiero.
Hours before this episode, the president of the South American country announced on his Twitter account that he would hold meetings with world leaders in Bali, in addition to speaking "at meetings and plenary sessions on health, food and energy security, infrastructure and global investment."
