Ahmadinejad accuses the US of using the attack to justify wars.

The President of the Irish Institute classifies the official version of events regarding the September 11 attacks as a "big lie".

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that the United States (US) used the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks as an excuse to launch wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Ahmadinejad stated that the attacks were a "designed and complicated game" to affect people's emotions and pave the way for the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq.

According to him, the US launched these wars to solve its own economic problems.

Ahmadinejad's statements were broadcast on the Iranian state television website today.

The Iranian leader has repeatedly questioned the official version of events surrounding the September 11 attacks, calling it a "big lie."
