Zé Simão: "Paul McCartney comes to São Paulo more often than Doria"
On the day the Beatle performs once again in São Paulo, Folha columnist José Simão (PSDB) jokes about comparing his presence to that of Mayor João Doria, who has spent more of his term traveling than dealing with the city's problems.
SP 247 - Journalist José Simão mocked Mayor João Doria's (PSDB) frequent trips, saying that musician "Paul McCartney comes to São Paulo more often than Doria."
On his new tour, the Beatle will perform another show in the city of São Paulo this Sunday the 15th, at Allianz Parque.
The municipal branch of the Workers' Party (PT) in São Paulo filed a complaint with the Public Prosecutor's Office (MP-SP) on August 22nd, accusing the mayor of administrative misconduct. According to the party, Doria allegedly uses official trips, made during working hours, for electoral purposes.
After traveling to 11 Brazilian municipalities in August to participate in tributes, meetings, and interviews, the politician told Rede TV that he can manage the capital remotely, via cell phone.
