247 - Lawyer Cristiano Zanin Martins, who defends former president Lula, rebutted accusations on Tuesday (28) by journalist Mario Sabino, editor of the website O Antagonista, one of the main vehicles supporting the Lava Jato operation.

On Twitter, Sabino mocked Zanin's post about freedom of the press and mentioned the lawyer's lawsuit against Antagonista. "Frankly, the lack of shame knows no bounds," said Sabino.

Zanin countered by stating that he won a lawsuit against Sabino and recalled the Supreme Federal Court's decision to disqualify former judge Sérgio Moro. "This 'individual' needs to say that his publications have reaffirmed that technical diagnosis. I imagine he was also upset because, in addition to seeing the disqualification of his favorite judge recognized, I recently won a lawsuit against you as the opposing party's lawyer," stated Cristiano Zanin.

In response, Mario Sabino accused Zanin of slandering him. "You may have the judges, but I have the Justice system. Go find your group at Fecomércio Rio," stated the editor of Antagonista.

In his rebuttal, Cristiano Zanin responded by citing that the vehicle driven by Mario Sabino and Diogo Mainardi appears in the recordings of Operation Spoofing, which produced the Vaza Jato series and demonstrated to the world the collusion of Sérgio Moro, Deltan Dallagnol, and other Lava Jato prosecutors in the persecution of former President Lula. "In that 'sanctuary' of Spoofing, it was possible to see everything you did with Moro, Dallagnol, and company, including the biggest attack on the legal profession ever perpetrated in the country," said Zanin.
