The Washington Post exposes Bolsonaro's "do-nothing policy" regarding the coronavirus.

The article, published this Tuesday, says that Brazil ignored all international warnings about the Covid-19 pandemic and maintained its stance of inaction in the face of the disease and its victims, even after becoming the world's epicenter.

Forum Magazine - A report published this Tuesday (16) by the US newspaper Washington Post This adds to the long list of journalistic articles that point to Jair Bolsonaro's government as having the worst response to the new coronavirus pandemic.

The article, written by journalist Terrence McCoy, has a rather long, yet accurate and concise title: “Brazil ignored the warnings. Now, while other countries worry about a second wave of coronavirus, (Brazil) can't even overcome the first.”

In the text, McCoy reconstructs the actions – or lack thereof, according to the author – of President Jair Bolsonaro since the outbreak began in Brazil, which he summarized with the term "policy of doing nothing." He recalled everything from the fights with governors and mayors to what he considers his only state policy regarding the disease: the bet on chloroquine as a safe cure, despite international studies indicating otherwise.
