Bricklayer after obscene video of Bolsonaro: indecent
"I couldn't imagine that the president's anger was so great that he would go to the point he did: distributing an obscene video as proof that street carnival is a gathering of debauched, filthy, and sexually promiscuous people," says journalist Fernando Brito, from Tijolaço; "Indecent behavior by two individuals on any street, in front of hundreds of eyes during the festivities, is an unpleasant matter that should be resolved at the police station."
By Fernando Brito, from brick - I had written, earlier yesterday, that Jair Bolsonaro, "bitter," was using his Carnival outbursts on Twitter such as "what could be a publishable response" to the insults he received from all over the carnival groups.
I couldn't have imagined that the president's anger was so intense that he would go to such lengths as to distribute a scatological video as proof that street carnival is a gathering of debauched, filthy, and sexually promiscuous people. And, indirectly, to suggest that these were the same people who had hurled insults at him.
Indecent behavior by two individuals on any street, in front of hundreds of eyes during the festivities, is an unpleasant matter that should be resolved at the police station.
How do we resolve the indecent behavior of a president of the Republic, publishing appalling pornography on public networks, in front of millions of people?
In both cases, the problem is the public display of fetishes.
In the case of the subjects in the video, even if shocking, they are also irrelevant.
In Bolsonaro's case, it's a despicable attempt by a head of state to transfer the stigma of supporting debauchery onto his adversaries, using pornography.
We have, on top of everything else, a president who is utterly defiant.
With all that this implies regarding the judgment of their mental and moral capacities to manage the lives of 210 million people.
