Forum Magazine - Normally reserved about his personal life, Thiago Lacerda lost his temper and argued with some of his Instagram followers. It all happened after he shared an image in which the French artist Henri-Émile-Benoît Matisse is depicted painting a nude woman. The post caused outrage among some internet users and generated much criticism of the heartthrob. In the midst of the discussion, the actor praised a friend's comment and called the critics "boorish," "hypocritical," and "repressed." "These people lack nudity in their lives. People with the minds of pedophiles," he exclaimed.

“They are such idiots! They lack civility, education, critical thinking, aesthetic and intellectual references! They lack museums, they lack nudity in the lives of these hypocritical and repressed people! People with the minds of pedophiles reproducing texts from others without even knowing what they mean… Without even knowing what they themselves are capable of concluding about anything, no matter how simple. Things are ugly! But we will resist! Humbly and magnanimously! To the stupid, silence, resilience, and emojis!”, Thiago wrote on the social network.

Due to the controversy, several internet users said they would unfollow the actor. Ignoring the threats, Thiago told some to "get lost." "I didn't attack people! Only those who spread nonsense! I have no patience! And yes, I have the right to suggest they leave! To be clearer, that they 'get lost'! Just as people have the right to follow or not! By the way… there's a tip for you!", he commented.

Given the artist's stance, one internet user even questioned whether he was indeed the author of the messages. "Don't worry! It's really me!! It's just that I don't tolerate nonsense! I have little patience... With love! By the way, the unfollow button is readily available!"

In a previous post, Thiago showed his young children in front of a nude painting by Pablo Picasso at the Botero Museum in Bogotá, Colombia. "The artistic experience is infinite and liberating! Art is not a crime!", he wrote in the photo caption.
