Temer makes a shocking announcement about Social Security.

Retired prematurely at age 55, President Michel Temer launches an advertising campaign to convince society of the need for his pension reform, which exploits the poorest while protecting the military; "Social Security, with retirement pensions, survivor's pensions, maternity leave, and sick pay, could end overnight if we don't reform it," says an advertisement from the federal government published in the press this Tuesday.

247 - The government of President Michel Temer has launched a "terrorist" campaign in favor of the Social Security Reform, which is already being processed in the National Congress.

"Social Security, with retirements, pensions, maternity pay and sick pay, could end overnight if we don't reform it," says an announcement from the federal government published in the press this Tuesday (6).

The government's advertisement, with the slogan "Reform so as not to end," highlights the increase in life expectancy of Brazilians and the number of retirees. "Many people live longer receiving pensions than working. As things stand, the math doesn't add up," the text says.

As far as is known, the reform proposed by Temer, who retired at age 55, establishes a minimum retirement age of 65, and the changes only apply to those under 50. For those over 50, there will be a transitional rule.
