'Could Alexandre de Moraes not arrest Eduardo Bolsonaro for threatening Brazilians?', asks Helena Chagas.
The congressman called on anyone who owns a firearm to "volunteer" for Bolsonaro, under the pretext of distributing campaign material.
247 - Journalist Helena Chagas, participating on TV 247 this Tuesday (6), commented on the post by federal deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) on Monday (5) in which Calls on armed citizens to become "volunteers" for Jair Bolsonaro. (PL).
The congressman, in his publication, says he was inviting "volunteers" to distribute campaign material. The understanding of the message wasn't exactly that, comments Chagas. "The person is calling on the population to arm themselves, to go to the streets armed."
The journalist states that Eduardo Bolsonaro could be arrested and reports that the assessment within the Presidential Palace is that the congressman "went too far." "Isn't that a crime? Couldn't Alexandre de Moraes order the arrest of 'Bananinha' just for that threat? There are even people inside the Presidential Palace, I was told this morning, who think Eduardo Bolsonaro went too far and that he is running a serious risk."
According to Chagas, Bolsonaro is "extremely nervous" - especially after the release of the latest Ipec survey - and he is expected to "resort to violence" during the demonstrations this Wednesday, September 7th. "His allies advise him not to talk about the ballot boxes, not to attack the Supreme Court justices, but today many people already think he's going to resort to violence."
