247 - Journalist Leonardo Sakamoto observes that Jair Bolsonaro's celebration of Operation Placebo, launched this Tuesday (26) and which targeted, among others, the alleged involvement of the wife of the governor of Rio de Janeiro, Wilson Witzel, in a scheme to divert public funds for the fight against Covid-19, differs from the tone adopted when investigations involve his family members.

“On January 24th of last year, for example, in an interview with TV Record, he stated that 'it's not fair to target a boy, to do what they're doing to him, to try to get to me.' He was referring to the investigation into his son, Senator Flávio Bolsonaro, then 37 years old,” says Sakamoto in his [document/article/report]. blog on UOL.

“The 'boy' is being investigated by the Public Prosecutor's Office for embezzlement, money laundering and criminal organization in the midst of the action revolving around the family's fixer, Fabrício Queiroz,” notes Sakamoto.

Sakamoto emphasizes that "on May 16th of last year, he maintained the same style of justification and said, in an interview in the United States, that 'since the beginning of my term, people have been after me all the time, using my family.' The complaints have turned into political interference, according to accusations..." Sergio Moro, former Minister of Justice”, he adds.

'In the now iconic video of the April 22 ministerial meeting, released with the authorization of Supreme Court Justice Celso de Mello, amidst an inquiry analyzing whether the president intervened in the institution for his personal needs, he complains: "I can't be surprised by news. Damn it, I have the Federal Police who don't give me information,"' adds the journalist.
