Accused of drug trafficking, Renato Cariani is planning a run for the Chamber of Deputies in 2026.

"He has fantastic communication skills. We are very optimistic that he will lead this process within our party," said Ciro Nogueira. Asked about Cariani's potential for a future candidacy for the Chamber of Deputies, Nogueira revealed that the chances are "high" and that the influencer has "a lot of interest" in pursuing this political path.

Cariani has around 10 million followers on Instagram and approximately 7,7 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, which increases his potential as a public figure in the political arena. The influencer, who is also known for his expertise in bodybuilding and fitness, was previously responsible for the physical preparation of Pablo Marçal, a former candidate for mayor of São Paulo.

However, Cariani's career has not been free of controversy. In 2023, the influencer was the target of Operation Hinsberg, by the Federal Police, accused of involvement with a criminal organization accused of diverting chemicals for drug production. After being formally charged, Cariani became a defendant in a drug trafficking case.
