Pressure from RedeTV! for aid creates unease in the government.

A television station controlled by Amílcare Dallevo has been seeking official support, but the Presidential Palace is bothered by labor problems; about 200 employees laid off last year did not receive their severance pay and also discovered that their FGTS (Brazilian employee severance fund) contributions were not paid; meanwhile, the businessman lives like a sultan with his young wife, Daniela Albuquerque.

Pressure from RedeTV! for aid creates unease in the government.

247 - Of all the media groups in trouble (and there are almost all of them), none has caused as much unease in the federal government as RedeTV!, owned by businessman Amílcare Dallevo, which has been putting intense pressure on the Presidential Palace for official support.

The problem is that the government has information that 200 employees laid off at the end of last year did not receive their severance pay. Even more serious is that RedeTV!, despite not fulfilling its obligations, claimed to have paid the severance to the Federal Revenue Service, which has made it difficult for the former employees to file their income tax returns. Furthermore, the workers also discovered that the FGTS (Brazilian employee severance fund) contributions were not made – which constitutes misappropriation.

Meanwhile, Dallevo, who married the young presenter Daniela Albuquerque, lives like a sultan. He built the largest house in São Paulo, and his wife posts photos on social media of the couple's latest international trips – something that also happens with the network's number 2, Marcelo Carvalho, and his wife Luciana Gimenez.

The government's order is to not grant any requests from RedeTV! until the broadcaster proves that it has settled its labor obligations.
