Progressive pastor who denounces religious leaders becomes target of threats.

247 - Progressive pastor Fábio Bezerril Cardoso reported on his Facebook page that his social media account had been hacked, with offensive messages sent to several friends and a threatening phone call made to his home ordering him to be quiet.

"I will not be silenced! I will continue to denounce the injustices and violence perpetrated by the powerful and by so-called Christian leaders who grind people down in their inquisitorial machines," he retorted. According to him, the reason for the persecution was his response to Pastor Silas Malafaia, who "does not deserve my respect, as he has become a money changer in the Temple."

I Will Not Be Silent

This week my Facebook profile was hacked, messages were sent to several friends with insults, and I received a phone call that scared me and my wife, because the person on the other end said it was better for me to shut up... I feel compelled to warn those who persecute me, THAT I WILL NOT BE SILENCED... I will continue to denounce the injustices and violence perpetrated by the powerful and by the so-called Christian leaders who grind people down in their inquisitorial machines... You who hide behind the machine to offend me because I wrote rebutting Malafaia, I want to tell you that he does not deserve my respect, because he has become a money changer in the Temple... It's no use sending threats privately, saying you will sue or defame me... I am not afraid of being sued, much less of the opinion of conservatives... I remain firm on my path, keeping the word of the Lord in my heart, something that many of these evangelical leaders have already lost...

and the temple hill, a thicket.
