According to Folha, the PT fears Marina more than Aécio.

According to Otavio Frias's publication, sources within the committee for President Dilma's reelection admit to fearing the "nebulous and unpredictable zone" of Marina Silva's candidacy; she could attract voters who identified with the wave of protests in June of last year; furthermore, if she surpasses Aécio Neves in the polls, she would make the "Lula's return" movement uncontrollable within the PT (Workers' Party).

247 – For the newspaper “Folha de S. Paul"The PT would rather face Aécio Neves in a potential second round than Marina Silva, who inherited the PSB's nomination after the tragic death of Eduardo Campos."

According to Otavio Frias's publication, sources within the committee for President Dilma's reelection admit to fearing the "nebulous and unpredictable zone" surrounding the former senator's candidacy.

In the first round of the 2010 election, Marina received almost 20 million votes. This year, the Workers' Party group believes that Marina will attract voters who identified with the wave of protests in June of last year, which could increase her vote count.

According to the newspaper, some of the president's advisors believe Marina will face difficulties due to her "behavioral conservatism." She has previously spoken out against abortion and stated that she is in favor of religious education in schools.

However, if the polls show her ahead of Aécio, the "Lula, come back" movement could become uncontrollable.
