247 Internet users criticized General Augusto Heleno, who was head of the Institutional Security Office (GSI) during the Jair Bolsonaro (PL) government. Twitter users cited the former minister after a video The video shows military personnel clearing a path for Bolsonaro supporters on January 8th, when protesters stormed the exterior structures of the Presidential Palace, the Supreme Federal Court (STF), and Congress.
General Gonçalves Dias took over the GSI (Institutional Security Office) in January of this year. He resigned. Before him, Heleno held the position.
"The boss was Augusto Heleno. This is the vagabond circus of the far-right. Let's have a Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry," stated journalist Reinaldo Azevedo.
Another internet user wrote: "The GSI is entirely controlled by General Heleno. Part of the armed forces are Bolsonaro supporters."
