NYT says “Isolated Bolsonaro” continues to downplay the coronavirus.

A text signed by journalists Ernesto Londoño, Manuela Andreoni, and Letícia Casado states that the Brazilian president "is the only major world leader who questions the merits of isolation measures to combat the pandemic."

Forum Magazine - An article published this Wednesday (1) by the US newspaper New York Times portrays Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro as one of Brazil's biggest problems in dealing with the coronavirus pandemic.

“The way he handled the crisis led to consternation across the country’s political spectrum, as congressional leaders and the head of the Supreme Court urged Brazilians to ignore their president. A movement to impeach Bolsonaro is gaining popular support, with Brazilians banging pots and pans in their windows every night to repudiate the president,” describes the New York Times.
