247 - Actress Monica Iozzi revealed in interview Speaking to UOL, Iozzi said she regrets giving Bolsonaro airtime when she was a reporter for CQC on Band. According to Iozzi, she believed she was making an "exposé" about the congressman, who at the time had little national exposure.

“I was the person who interviewed Bolsonaro the most [on the program]. What I can say is that every time we showed Bolsonaro, it was with the intention of making a denunciation. We wanted to denounce and question how it was possible to have parliamentarians of that caliber.”

Currently, the actress realizes that the program did a disservice, although this was not the editorial intention of CQC.

"What I mean is: how could someone so unprepared for any kind of public office, and with a discourse that spreads so much hatred, possibly get there?", he laments.

Iozzi adds: "He shouldn't even have been a congressman, much less president. So, we were showing Bolsonaro to file a complaint."

According to the actress, it never crossed her mind or the minds of the other CQC members that Bolsonaro was "something so dangerous."

"There was no way to know that showing Bolsonaro could be such a dangerous thing. It's impossible to imagine it would lead to this. I thought I was doing a good job, providing a service," he concludes.
