Merval: PSDB already wants to control Temer.

"The pressure from the PSDB (Brazilian Social Democracy Party) on Michel Temer to implement pension and labor reforms and move forward with planned projects is aimed at gaining leverage for the 2018 elections. They want to present themselves as the party of reforms; the party that implemented the Real Plan and now wants to implement other necessary reforms to make the country grow. If it succeeds, they will be on the side of the winning government; if the reforms are not implemented, they will have the narrative that they tried everything to get the Temer government to face the task," says columnist Merval Pereira.
