Marcia Tiburi criticizes Lula's Minister of Communications: "How awful!"
"What a shame that the most important ministry in this era of urgent need to combat misinformation is in the hands of someone clueless!", the professor posted.
247 - Writer and professor Marcia Tiburi used Twitter on Saturday morning (31) to criticize the choice of the president-elect, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), to appoint Juscelino Filho (União Brasil-MA) to the Ministry of Communications.
"What a horror that this Minister of Communications is a coup supporter with absolutely no knowledge in the field of communication. The guy is a doctor by training. What a shame that the most important ministry in this era of urgent need to combat misinformation and fake news is in the hands of someone clueless!", he wrote.
Lula has been heavily criticized for including the Ministry of Communications in political negotiations and for handing over the portfolio to União Brasil - a party with right-wing and far-right figures - as a strategy for the next four years.
