During an appearance on a podcast in February, he revealed that he had earned "15 times less than the person who was next to him". This Saturday, internet users retrieved the revelation and pointed to it as an indirect message to Patricia Poeta.
"My loves, just to avoid any misunderstanding. The statement that everyone is quoting refers to advertising fees for commercials and not to my salary. Just to avoid any misunderstanding, if it were about advertising I would say so without a problem, but that's not the case, thank God, my salary is fair," commented Soares, wanting to put an end to the recent confusion involving the two presenters of Encontro.
