The ultra-orthodox American weekly newspaper "Di Tzeitung" does not accept images of women in its editions. Because of this, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was removed from a historic photograph published by the newspaper. The image, taken by the White House's official photographer, Pete Souza, shows the moment when President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, and aides accompanied the military action that culminated in the death of Osama bin Laden. The photo, which will be enshrined in history, was published by many newspapers around the world without any modification, obviously. The newspaper apologized for the incident, but said that its editorial policy does not allow women in its pages and the editor had not noticed that the White House does not allow alterations to its photos.
