According to the columnist for Globo, the judge understood that the article about the minister, which prompted Barbosa's complaint against Noblat, did not go beyond journalistic criticism without the intention of offending him. The judge's decision is 29 pages long. The Federal Public Prosecutor's Office, which filed the complaint, waived its right to appeal the judge's decision, considering it well-founded.
