ISTOÉ says Bolsonaro is a plague to be eradicated from Brazil.
"Either Brazil defeats the captain, or he will defeat the country," reads the cover of the magazine, which highlights this year's election as "fundamental to saving democracy."
247 - The latest cover of ISTOÉ magazine features a short and harsh editorial criticizing Jair Bolsonaro (PL), whom the publication calls a "plague."
"The Bolsonaro plague needs to be eradicated from Brazil," the headline reads.
According to the magazine, Bolsonaro must be defeated at the polls this year to prevent him from destroying the country. "The October election will take place amidst great tension, threats, and radical attacks, and will be crucial to saving democracy. If he is not rejected at the polls, the president will emerge strengthened to advance against the institutions. Either Brazil defeats the captain, or he will defeat the country."
Former president Lula (PT) is leading in the polls and is the favorite to defeat Bolsonaro.
