247 Internet users recalled the Bolsonaro-backed terrorist attacks that occurred in recent days, criticized Jair Bolsonaro (PL), and made the expression "Rio Centro" a trending topic on Twitter. "The terrorists are the same as always," said one user. "The same ones who blew up newsstands, planned to blow up Rio Centro and even military barracks," they added.
Another profile wrote: "under the complacent gaze of the security forces of this end-of-government period, on the 12th a gang terrorized the country's capital."
Former governor of the Federal District, Agnelo Queiroz, demanded investigations. "No one commits a terrorist act alone."
Rio Centro was an attack on April 30, 1981, in the Jacarepaguá neighborhood, in the western part of Rio de Janeiro (RJ). Military personnel intended to detonate bombs at the site to accuse left-wing opponents. At least one of the bombs exploded, killing at least two military personnel. The case remains unsolved.
Last weekend, the Federal District Police arrested the Bolsonaro-supporting terrorist. George Washington De Oliveira Sousa City of Kyiv, Ukraine, taken after planning to detonate a bomb near the terminal at Brasília Airport (DF). Another suspect was identified as Alan Diego Rodrigues.
