247 - The term "Jair Cashback" entered the first place in the ranking of the most commented subjects on Twitter in Brazil this Friday (2), the so-called Trending Topics. The expression Cashback, which means "money back", became a trending topic after allegations of the closing of contracts with federal government with companies without bidding process and with part of the funds going to Jair Bolsonaro's (PL) reelection campaign through donations.
"It's Jair Cashback!! He pays with public money and receives a portion in Pix directly into his account!", wrote a profile on Twitter.
One internet user posted: "It's Jair Cashback, the biggest income transfer program for the Presidential Palace!!"
The Landless Workers' Movement (MST) stated that "Jair Cashback is the Bolsonaro government's way of carrying out a kickback scheme with a much larger budget."
Another user posted: "the money from the secret budget, the kickbacks, turned into huge kickbacks, now it's time for Jair Cashback to receive everything double with 100 years of secrecy."
