Ibaneis gets irritated by a question about Bolsonaro and takes a cell phone from a Folha reporter.
The governor of the Federal District, Ibaneis Rocha, was annoyed by questions about Jair Bolsonaro's behavior during the pandemic. He quickly returned the cell phone and apologized.
247 - The governor of the Federal District, Ibaneis Rocha (MDB), was giving an interview to Folha de S. Paul this Monday (16) when he got annoyed with questions from the reporter and took her cell phone.
The irritation was caused by questions asked by the journalist about Jair Bolsonaro's behavior during the pandemic. When the reporter asked about Bolsonaro's lack of a statement after the attack on the Supreme Court, the governor took the journalist's cell phone, which was recording the conversation.
"You're being very, look, very much in the 'I think' position. I don't answer based on 'I think'. It's pointless, because this interview hasn't been given, because I'm not here to give opinions. You're the one who's making assumptions," Ibaneis said.
"But the cell phone is mine...", the reporter replied. "'You think so.' You're going to delete the interview and that's it," demanded the governor.
"No, Governor, we're just having a conversation," the journalist said.
After the altercation, Ibaneis Rocha returned the cell phone, apologized, and resumed the interview.
