Former Rio governor Sérgio Cabral gives his first interview after leaving prison.

The politician spoke to journalist Ricardo Bruno, from the program Jogo do Poder. The interview will air this Sunday (5), on the CNT channel.

247 - Former Rio de Janeiro governor Sérgio Cabral gave his first interview after leaving prison. The politician spoke to journalist Ricardo Bruno, from the program Jogo do Poder. The interview will air this Sunday (5), at 22:30 pm, on the CNT channel. 

Cabral was governor of Rio de Janeiro between 2007 and 2014. He was arrested in November 2016 as part of Operation Lava Jato and sentenced to more than 390 years in prison for various crimes, including bid rigging and accepting bribes from construction companies in public contracts. 

The former governor was the only one imprisoned in a closed regime as part of the operation and will continue to face trial under house arrest.
