247 - Journalist Eliane Cantanhêde expressed regret, but acknowledged in her column This Friday, former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has been building increasing support among sectors of the center and center-right in Brazil. "Geraldo Alckmin, a member of the PSDB party since childhood, is Lula's trophy for talking to leaders of the MDB, PSD, and Centrão parties, including the PP party of the Minister of the Civil House, Ciro Nogueira, who is from the Northeast, where Lula and the PT are top vote-getters. But the big news is Lula's rapprochement with historical PSDB members," he writes.

"While the PSDB is struggling with existential crises, the MDB in the Northeast is already with Lula, the Centrão is just pretending, and Kassab has just publicly admitted what was already known since the launch of Senator Rodrigo Pacheco's name: the PSD has one foot on Lula's side," he continues.

At the end of the article, she says that "Lula and the PT did not want and do not want allies and alternation of power, only subjects and eternal protagonism."
