Eliane criticizes "Lula's cocaine" against the PSDB.
According to the journalist, the former president was "unworthy" and delivered a blow "below the belt" when he criticized the press, comparing the prominence given to José Dirceu's job and the 450 kilos of cocaine found in the Perrella family's helicopter; according to Eliane, Perrella is innocent and there is nothing linking him to the PSDB or presidential candidate Aécio Neves.
247 - Journalist Eliane Cantanhêde, a columnist for Folha de S.Paulo, harshly criticized former president Lula in the article "Lula's cocaine" (read here), published this Sunday.
Eliane was referring to a phrase Lula said at the PT National Congress held in Brasília. "If you compare Zé Dirceu's job at the hotel with the amount of cocaine in the helicopter, at least there was a disproportion in the matter," he said.
According to the journalist, Lula wanted to link the case, which arose after the seizure of an aircraft belonging to the family of Senator Zezé Perrella (PDT-MG), to the PSDB party and the candidacy of Senator Aécio Neves (PSDB-MG). "Perrella is linked to the PSDB presidential candidate, Aécio Neves, but he is not from the PSDB, he is from the PDT. And, incidentally, until Friday there was nothing that compromised him with the cocaine, much less a document, a statement, or a revelation involving the PSDB member with the drugs from the helicopter," said the journalist.
According to her, Lula behaved "undignifiedly" and delivered a blow "below the belt."
