After 5 years, actor Gregório Duvivier stops writing his column for the Folha de S. Paulo newspaper; Duvivier, a critic of the coup and a forceful and irreverent voice in favor of democracy, wrote a series of texts that helped consolidate the thesis that the country suffered a coup.

247 – After 5 years, actor Gregório Duvivier stops writing his column for the Folha de S. Paulo newspaper. Duvivier, a critic of the coup and a forceful and irreverent voice in favor of democracy, wrote a series of texts that helped consolidate the thesis that the country suffered a coup.

“Fernanda Mena, then editor of Ilustrada, was the one who invited me to write here, and to this day I don’t understand where she got the idea. We didn’t know each other. Well, maybe that’s why. I’ve been here for five years, trying to be myself, in this fruitless search for a missing person that everyone knows is already dead, or hasn’t even been born yet.”
