247 Members of the Editorial and Administrative Boards of Brasil 247, as well as commentators from TV 247 and columnists, are present in various technical groups of the transition team of the elected government of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
The names were announced in three lists by Geraldo Alckmin, vice-president-elect and general coordinator of the transition team.
Former minister Aloizio Mercadante – who was responsible for drafting the government program – is the technical coordinator of the transition team. Mercadante is a member of the Editorial Board of Brasil 247.
In the list announced this Wednesday (16), the 247 includes former minister Celso Amorim, in the Foreign Relations group; journalists Florestan Fernandes Junior, Tereza Cruvinel, Helena Chagas and Hélio Doyle in the Social Communication group; Marco Aurélio Carvalho, Carol Proner and Wadih Damous in the Justice and Public Security group; Deyvid Bacelar, general coordinator of FUP, in the Mines and Energy group; and Marcelo Uchôa, in Human Rights.
Iêda Leal, national coordinator of the Unified Black Movement (MNU), and Douglas Belchior, from the Black Coalition for Rights, are part of the Racial Equality group.
After Correction of the ordinance regarding the technical group of Education.Professor Daniel Cara from USP, a commentator on Boa Noite 247, was included in the transition team.
