247 - Globo's coverage of the war between Russia and Ukraine was heavily criticized on social media this Thursday. Internet users pointed out in their posts that the Marinho family's network reports the facts solely from the American perspective on the conflict.

Among the criticisms, internet users said that the Globo presenters appeared to be covering the events directly from Washington, DC, the US capital.

"How long will Globo network continue to hide the fact that the paramilitary forces supported by NATO and the United States in Ukraine against Russia are neo-Nazis?", asked internet user Leonardo.

This morning, Rodrigo Ianhez, a historian living in Moscow, said that journalist Jorge Pontual threw a tantrum, "insulting him without any right of reply," by cutting off his speech when the expert was explaining the Russian perspective on the conflict during a Globo News broadcast.

Journalist Guga Chacra described Putin as "a cowardly leader".
