The latest Datafolha poll shows that no social group with significant weight has such a positive view of the president as evangelicals. Among them, 41% approve of his performance as head of government.
247 - Folha de S.Paulo columnist Bruno Boghossian analyzes the Datafolha poll published this Sunday and concludes that "the friction produced by Jair Bolsonaro in the coronavirus crisis has reinforced the role of evangelicals as anchors of his government."
He points out that among evangelicals, who represent almost a third of the population, 41% consider Bolsonaro's performance regarding the Covid-19 outbreak to be excellent or good.
"The bond with evangelicals, cemented by the conservative agenda, was highlighted during the coronavirus crisis," he points out. Boghossian.
