Bolsonaro supporter Conib should be investigated for anti-democratic practices, says Boff
The philosopher criticized the Zionist organization after it called for the censorship of journalist Breno Altman.
247 - The Zionist organization Israelite Confederation of Brazil (Conib) should be investigated for engaging in anti-democratic acts, such as advocating for the censorship of Jewish journalist Breno Altman, philosopher Leonardo Boff said in a social media post.
A Conib requested that Breno Altman be censored. by the courts because of the journalist's criticism of the Zionist regime and the genocide perpetrated by Israel against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
According to the philosopher, Brazil cannot allow the influence of the Zionist lobby, as is happening in the United States. He also recalled that Conib (the Brazilian Israelite Confederation) declared its support for Jair Bolsonaro in the past.
"Conib thinks it's in the USA where the Zionist lobby influences politicians and presidential candidates. Conib should be investigated because it wants anti-democratic practices against Breno Altman. It explicitly supported JB (Jair Bolsonaro), who has always defended torture. It forgets the victims of the Holocaust under Nazism," wrote Boff on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
