Images show what appear to be 'Russian tanks' being targeted by Ukrainian Molotov cocktails, but are actually images from Kazakhstan at another time.
247 - In early January 2022, a wave of protests against fuel price increases left dozens dead and hundreds detained in Almaty, Kazakhstan, leading to the mobilization of a contingent of troops led by Russia. The gas price increase sparked protests in several provinces of the country. Images of the protests were presented by Record and Band as if they had occurred in Ukraine.
