247 - Fernanda de Salles Andrade, author of the text published this Sunday on the website 'Terça Livre', defaming the journalist from Estado de S.Paulo, Constança Rezende, was appointed at the beginning of February to the office of PSL deputy Bruno Engler, in Minas Gerais. Engler, the third most voted candidate in the 2018 elections with 120.252 votes, belongs to the Direita Minas Movement. The announcement of the Terça Livre reporter's position was published on February 2nd in the Official Gazette of the Minas Gerais Legislative Assembly, according to the report. 

The journalist called Bruno Engler's office on Monday morning (11) and spoke to Fernanda.

She tells the journalist that she "sees no problem in working for Terça Livre and having a commissioned position in the Assembly" and also refuses to say how much she is earning. 

"I don't think so... It's not a question I need to answer for you," she argued.

The journalist asked: 

"But it's public money, right?"

She retorted:

"And what's the problem with that? Do you have something against public employees?"

Rubem Berta insisted: 

"Not against public employees. But it's important to know how much a public employee earns..."

Fernanda concluded:

"Yes, you can feel free to do your research."

The report also points out that Fernanda's social media accounts make no secret of her admiration for the Bolsonaro family. There are several photos with Flávio, Eduardo, and President Jair himself, dating from 2017 and 2018.

Despite Fernanda's secrecy about the amount she receives as an employee in the office, the Legislative Assembly of Minas Gerais' website provides access to the salaries of its employees. In Fernanda's case, the gross salary is R$6.543,79 + R$1.021,00 (transportation/food allowance).
